Gluten Free in DC
Yesterday we spent the day in DC and had lunch at Austin Grill. They have a gluten free menu and delicious food. Abby said the hot dog and fries were the meal of her dreams.
Sticky Fingers Bakery has gluten free vegan cupcakes and chocolate chip cookies. This was our last stop of the day and they only had four cupcakes left. All of them came home with me! Many thanks to my husband for braving DC traffic and taking 20 minutes to go six miles, so that I was able to buy those cupcakes.

Popping Sorghum
Popped sorghum is a favorite snack in our home. After purchasing a small bag of popped sorghum at Whole Foods we purchased 35 pounds of grain sorghum. We enjoy sharing with friends and family. Our sorghum came from Pleasant Hill Grain. This video from Justpoppin.com is a good tutorial on how to pop sorghum.

Abigail and I turned her stained long sleeve shirt into this cute short sleeve shirt with bows. We used the tutorial from Make It and Love It.
