Benediction
Mr. Josiah Lootens
During our Khaki Ball we learned about proper etiquette at a formal dinner and the reason behind Khaki Balls.
Abigail explained the symbolism of the POW/MIA Table.
POW/MIA Table
The table is set for our prisoners of war and those missing in action.
The chair is empty because they are not with us.
Remember
The white table cloth reminds us of the purity of their actions to respond to their countries call to fight for freedom.
Remember
The lone candle reminds us of the frailty of one prisoner alone.
Remember
The black ribbon reminds us of those who will not be coming home.
Remember
The single rose reminds us of the loved ones and family waiting.
Remember
The lemon reminds us of the bitterness of their situation.
Remember
The salt reminds of us their families tears.
Remember
Remember those whom we depended on in battle and fought for our freedom.
