Since hearing the term, "functional hippie" from my friend Jessica I have borrowed it to describe how I view being "green." I like indoor plumbing, hot water, our front load washing machine and Dyson vacuum as well as cutting down waste, using less energy and reusing whenever possible. Liberals hold dear the green movement and have turned it into a way to control, regulate and deceive. Where would we be today if as Christians we had been good stewards of God's creation all along? Maybe the left would not have so much force when it comes to being green.
This is my Father's world,
and to my listening ears
all nature sings, and round me rings
the music of the spheres.

The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. |
Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. |
There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard. Psalm 19:1-3 |
And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
Genesis 1:26, 28
Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God. |
Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful. 1 Corinthians 4:1-2 |

Great verses. We are in Genesis with the children for devotions and had this verse. In fact the "green" thing came up.
Good ending with I Corinthians 4:1-2. mom
Well put Sarah. Thanks for writing.
