Soap Carving
Grandpa and Grandma Potter sent Matthew $5.00 which purchased a bag of Popsicles sticks and a bulk pack of Ivory bar soap. Matthew's first carving was a heart for his Mama and then a cross for his Daddy. The projects make a bit of a mess, but as Matthew said the carving is good for his brain.

I would carve cucumbers into a boat when I was little. Any extra cucumbers we would grow in the garden. I would stick a straw in it for a mast then a sheet of paper for a sail, take it down to the creek and let it float down the creek. grandpa Potter.
